Cathara Consulting is an Australian-based Consulting firm specialising in Business Transformations and Technology Consulting & Resourcing Services.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Project Administrator for an exciting 8-month role working with our client in the health care industry on a large-scale program of work based in Darwin.
The Project Administrator will:

Provide efficient and effective administration support to the Program Director to support the deliverables, tasks and activities required of the business readiness and transition team. This includes supporting the training, change management, communications and transition teams.

Support the Program Director by taking minutes and coordinating workshops and meetings and collating meeting packs.

Support the Program Director by extracting reports from JIRA and following up with project team members on the status of activities.

Assist with task allocation and oversight of entry level administrative staff within the program, providing mentoring when required.

Participate as a proactive member of the team contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of the business to ensure the program and project teams within program are supported by an efficient and effective administration service.

Undertake continuous quality improvement through regular evaluations of administrative tasks an updating or developing user guidance materials to ensure efficient and effective services are provided.

Assist other project leads as required in the planning and coordination of project related activities such as requirements and design workshops including preparing documentation, organising facilities, resources and stakeholders and assisting with execution.

Be an active member of the team by providing support to key project team members during busy project schedules and activities.

Performing the secretariat role for workshops and committees as required.
Experience Required

Demonstrated project/program experience in an administrative project coordination role or similar including experience in developing and maintaining process documentation and reporting on project statuses and activity.

Proven high level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with team members and internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated high level organisational and coordination skills with a diligent, energetic and positive approach and the ability to work autonomously, under pressure and meet deadlines, use initiative, prioritise workloads and maintain flexibility.

Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, team orientated environment with high priority deliverables.

Solid experience in using software packages including MS Office Suite, with ability to quickly acquire skills in JIRA and SharePoint and other software systems.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office, including expertise in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
Desirable Skills & Experience

Formal Qualification in (or working towards) Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent experience.

Experience in the Health or Information Technology industries (IT).
This role is based in Darwin, you are required to live and work in Darwin for the duration of the contract. No remote or Hybrid options are available.
