CASPA SERVICES LTD - POSITION VACANCY - Director - Non Executive - Paid role

CASPA is looking for engaged and experienced Directors to join our Board and support our mission to help children, young people, families and people with disabilities in regional Australia feel connected to their communities, with access to support, resources and opportunities to thrive.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role will require

  • Attendance at a minimum of 7 Board meetings a year. either face to face or online
  • Participation in at least one Board sub-committee, which meets as required (usually 4-5 meetings per year)
  • Attendance in person at an annual strategy workshop located in the Northern Rivers of NSW.

Successful candidates will be expected to have a working knowledge of the regulatory and compliance requirements of a Board role and preferably members of AICD.

CASPA is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate substantial experience, expertise or qualification in one or more of the following subject areas:

  • Financial management and accounting
  • Business Acumen and strategic management
  • AICD accreditation and experience in the role of Chair
  • Risk Management and assurance

Applicants with networks related to philanthropic investment, impact investing, notable sponsorship relationships etc will be highly regarded.

We are looking for Directors based anywhere in Australia but preferably in areas of our current operation being in the Northern Territory, North Queensland and Northern NSW.

CASPA Services Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of specialised care services to support complex trauma-based needs for children, young people, families, and people living with disabilities. Our programs include Therapeutic Intensive Residential Care, Intensive Family Preservation, Therapeutic Foster Care, Restoration, and other associated care types, we are a registered NDIS provider and operate a social enterprise Maintenance and repairs business. As a growing and diversifying organisation, we have approximately 650+ employees working in communities across New South Wales, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
