The Company
Our client is a leader in their space servicing a strong network of customers. As a result of their success the business is looking to recruit an experienced Supply & Demand Planner to join a high performing and dynamic team. This is a business critical role focused on a key category, you will be responsible for driving demand planning and forecasting activities working collaboratively with the wider team. This role will be a full-time permanent opportunity based in Melbourne.

The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to;
  • Develop and maintain demand projections, conduct regular demand reviews, and maintain accurate sales forecasts to optimise inventory management.
  • Maximise stock efficiency, minimise lost sales, and implement strategies for aged/excess inventory clearance while managing fill rates and KPIs.
  • Analyse trends, seasonality, and promotional activity to enhance forecasting accuracy, and present key business reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to align supply chain strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Your Background
  • Ideally 2-3 years in FMCG environment and/or similar role, with demonstrated experience in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a solutions focused mindset.
  • Microsoft Excel and exposure to planning software.
  • Highly organised with effective time management.
