Position overviewThe Support Officer is responsible for providing a range of administrative, support to the Operations Division. Core functions of the role includes preparation of various correspondence and documentation, records management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, providing procurement support, scheduling of appointments, monitoring of various inboxes and supporting the team to efficiently resolve issues.
What we are looking for:
* Ability to solve problems based on operational guidelines, knowledge and experience, utilising useful information, looking for underlying causes and suggesting alternative actions to stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, exercise attention to detail with initiative and ability to identify routine process improvements.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce a range of standard written documents, providing clear information and using language appropriate to the audience. High level experience in the full Microsoft suite of software, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint plus electronic records management and databases.
* Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative support within a corporate environment.
* Demonstrated ability to build rapports with others in order to understand issues and suggest sources of action appropriate to their needs.
