About The Role:

This organisation is seeking an experienced APS5-6 Secretariat and Administrative Officer to support essential project planning and governance activities. Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretariat support for project steering committees and forums
  • Prepare agendas, take high-quality minutes, track actions and coordinate meetings
  • Draft and review executive correspondence, reports, and briefing papers
  • Support stakeholder engagement through effective communication and coordination
  • Maintain accurate records in line with records management policy
  • Coordinate project administration including procurement, contract management, and reporting
  • Assist with preparation of project documentation, presentations, and internal communications
  • Contribute to general office operations and project delivery support tasks
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a secretariat or administrative role, ideally within the public sector
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to draft minutes, reports, and formal documents
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Working knowledge of project delivery and project governance frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in collaboration/tracking tools like SharePoint, Trello, or MS Project
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
