Description:

Contribute to urban planning projects at Wingecarribee Shire Council, offering flexible work arrangements and professional growth.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Coordinator Planning Assessment.
  • Undertaking tasks for planning projects, policies, and strategies.
  • Assessing local development applications.
  • Gaining experience in development application assessments.
  • Assisting with advice on development matters.
  • Participating in town planning services.
  • Observing and assisting in legal matters with senior officers.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning at an accredited Australian university.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player attitude.
  • Organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • A friendly and professional customer service approach.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload with attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Motivation and results-driven mindset.
  • A current Class C Driver's Licence.
