Take your career to new heights as Principal of St Bernard State School, located at the southern end of Mount Tamborine in Tamborine National Park.This is a permanent leadership opportunity to commence from 14 July 2025, Term 3 of the school year.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to Equity and Excellence and have a deep understanding of the K-12 Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Framework.
You will deliver the vision of the department, maintaining high educational outcomes of students while strengthening the alignment of teaching and learning in a collegial work environment.

About The School
Located within the Scenic Rim Council area, St Bernard State School is 30 minutes from the Gold Coast in Queensland's South East Region. Our school provides high quality education for Prep to Year 6 students.
About The Role
As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.

- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, agencies, community groups and stakeholders.

- Understand policies and legislation impacting the school.
- Manage department resources to achieve goals.
