· $5081.10 - $5516.60 per fortnight
· Rural and remote experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
The nurse unit manager (nurse grade 7) is accountable at an advanced practice level for:
- Coordination of human and/or material resources,
- Provide nursing leadership to support effective business practices for the Blackall Hospital ward and Emergency Department.
- Implement plans related to safe, consumer focused clinical care, and the continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional development of staff.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certified copies of the required information must
· Mandatory: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position.
· Highly Desirable:
- Possession of a relevant postgraduate or master’s qualification or evidence of enrolment in professional development programs applicable to the role.
- Experience in a relevant clinical management environment.
· Post graduate experience: Minimum five years postgraduate experience.
