The Role:
An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists for a passionate and dedicated Injury Management Advisor to join the team at Northern Health.
The key focus of this role is to drive improved Return To Work outcomes and claims management across the Northern Health (NH) campuses.
Working within a busy and dynamic team, and engaging with the entirety of the NH workforce, you will be dealing with the full spectrum of the return to work process for both work related and non-work related injuries.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in claims management or RTW coordinator roles
- Demonstrated ability in managing a portfolio of workers’ compensation and injury management cases
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of worker’s compensation legislation and claims management
- Demonstrated experience in building strong and collaborative working relationships
- Understanding of other relevant legislations such as OHS and Employment relations is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines
