The Senior Community Facilities Officer role involves overseeing bookings, administration, operations, and community development across various centres. The position is based in the Southwest local area of Casey, including Cranbourne West Community Hub and other family and community centres. There is a requirement to travel between centres.

A bit about the role
As a Senior Community Facilities Officer, you’ll be at the heart of bustling and dynamic community centres, ensuring smooth daily operations and enhancing the customer experience. In this leadership role, you’ll also support your team by providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to both staff and volunteers.
As part of this role, you will oversee the efficient operation of community facilities, ensuring compliance with financial, OH&S, and emergency management procedures while managing resources, equipment, cleaning, and maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining essential information and data to support funding submissions, reports, and other required materials. Additionally, you will help promote awareness of these facilities by maintaining publications, including print materials and digital content, to highlight activities, programs, and functions that benefit the local community.

What you’ll bring

- Exposure to venue booking systems. Momentus experience desirable
- Proficiency in financial management practices
- Experience in building shared leadership cultures
- A driver’s licence, valid to drive within Victoria
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
