About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and driven Hepatology Fellow to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality care through attendance at Liver Clinics, General Gastroenterology Clinics, and endoscopy lists. You will take a leadership role by chairing the Hepatocellular Carcinoma Multi-Disciplinary Meeting on a fortnightly basis, contributing to collaborative and patient-centred care planning.
You will also support ongoing hepatology research projects within the department, helping to advance clinical knowledge and improve outcomes. The role includes assisting ward registrars with complex hepatology cases and participating in the on-call and inpatient consult roster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Fellow to deepen their expertise in hepatology while working within a supportive, forward-thinking team.

You are a dedicated and skilled medical professional with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient-centred care. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a proactive approach to clinical service delivery and leadership.

Eligible for registration with AHPRA and hold an MBBS or equivalent medical degree

Strong communication, negotiation and complaint resolution skills

Proven ability to lead, supervise staff and support effective team dynamics

In-depth knowledge of hospital systems, policies, and multidisciplinary functions
