- Salary $87,416.00 - $110,497.00 p.a. (Pro Rata) RN2C| 0.7 FTE – Contract available until September 2025 with the possibility of further extensions. 0.3 FTE of the total FTE may be available for an ongoing appointment.

About the role:
As the Clinical Diabetes Nurse Educator, your duties may include:
- Providing proficient, person centred, clinical diabetes nursing care and individual case management to patients in the Out of Hospital Service.
- Managing Diabetes related technology in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- Participating in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience.
- Delivering Group education sessions to patients, staff and community groups under the supervision of the RN3
About you:
- To be Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- At least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
- Competence in Diabetes Education and Management nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
