Description:
The Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for the following but not be limited to:
- Leading the financial control team and ensuring best practices are maintained.
- Management of a small team (Accounts receivable, payable and payroll)
- Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors, ensuring a smooth auditing process.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
- Offering financial expertise to support strategic decision-making
- Other ad hoc project duties as requested by the CFO
Requirements:
A successful Interim FC' should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Experience within a similar role
- Immediately Available
- Proven experience in financial control or related roles.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- An understanding of the business services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
