The Opportunity
As COO, you’ll play a key leadership role in translating our strategic vision into operational reality. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead company-wide operations with a focus on scalable systems, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all operational functions to delivery business strategy and scale effectively.
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, tools and processes to reduce costs and enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Build and lead high-performing operational teams.
- Ensure our technology and infrastructure support current needs and future growth.
- Monitor performance using data-driven insights.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across teams.
- Champion customer-centric operations, ensuring our clients receive best-in-class support and implementation.
- Stay ahead of trends in SaaS, EdTech, and AI to bring innovative practices to aXcelerate.
- Proven experience as a COO or equivalent executive role, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.
- Deep understanding of SaaS operations, customer lifecycle, and subscription models.
- Strong experience building scalable systems for growth, both locally and internationally.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and aligning technical and business operations.
- Expertise in customer success strategy and operational optimisation.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach and strong commercial acumen.
- Experience with AI adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Australia’s VET sector and corporate training (desirable).
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, a relevant Master's degree (e.g. MBA) is desirable
