The Successful Candidate
- Sales Material Management. Create, manage, and update sales materials to ensure they are current and effective.
- Tender Management. Locate and monitor tender websites, respond to tenders, and ensure timely submissions.
- Client Communication. Maintain regular communication with existing clients to nurture relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Business Development. Seek opportunities for sales in the private sector, including doorknocking and networking, while focusing on high-potential leads.
- Strategic Market Analysis. Absorb and align with the company's strategic vision, analysing market potential in innovative ways.
- Partnership Collaboration. Work with large partners to integrate the company into substantial contracts and bids as a subcontractor.
- Pipeline Management. Develop and manage a complex pipeline of opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of potential business.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Proficiency
- Comfort with data tools and technologies, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem, is crucial for managing and integrating data, configuring schemas and pipelines, and developing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Data Integration and Management
- Working within Lakehouse technology to manage and integrate data, and configuring Fabric Dataflows for API access, is a primary duty. Proficiency in data integration ensures seamless data flow and accessibility.
Power BI Development
- Creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards, and designing database schemas, is essential for providing actionable insights and data visualization. This skill directly supports the role's core responsibilities.
Data Visualization and Analysis
- Creating visuals and performing data analysis using DAX and other Power BI tools is vital for making data accessible and usable. This skill enhances the ability to present data in a meaningful way.
API and Power Query
- Accessing and integrating data from APIs using Power Query, and developing and maintaining dataflows, is important for seamless data integration and ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate.
