What you will do as an Executive Assistant
Executive Assistants are critical roles within the AER, supporting Board members and/or senior executives in their work to make energy consumers better off, now and in the future. We are looking for multiple strategic, proactive and collaborative Executive Assistants to join our team.
Working under limited guidance, Executive Assistants in the AER:
- Provide high level executive support to senior executives and Board members, including inbox management and diary management, with discretion, attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Proactively assess and prioritise a high volume of incoming papers, emails and telephone enquiries and take appropriate follow up action
- Provide secretariat support for meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes, liaising with staff across the business to collate papers, managing invitations and RSVP's, arranging meeting rooms, video conference bookings and catering
- Provide supervision and line management to an APS4 Administrative Assistant.
About you
In order to succeed in the role, you will have:
- Experience in providing high level executive support to senior leaders, including inbox management and diary management, with discretion and attention to detail
- A collaborative attitude and strong communications skills, with the ability to maintain productive relationships with staff of all levels to support effective workflows
- The ability to proactively assess and prioritise multiple competing tasks, and a resilient, adaptive mindset.
