The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Team Leader Business Services and Support to be part of our Biosecurity Division within the Department of Primary Industries and Regions.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Manager, Biosecurity Business Services to deliver a broad range of corporate and business service support to the Biosecurity Division.

Leading a small team, the Team Leader, Business Services will work collaboratively across the Division to ensure business support needs are met. This includes financial, fleet, WHS and records management support and guidance. The role will also work closely with the Corporate Services Division to ensure Divisional and Corporate governance responsibilities are met within Agency policies and guidelines.

The role contributes to delivering the agency’s priorities including increasing productivity of primary industries, secure production, enable market access and build partnerships with industry and stakeholders, by leading the Business Services Team to deliver effective administrative support for the business services and performance of the Biosecurity Division

Special Conditions

  • Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required.

  • The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies.

Remuneration
ASO5 - $85,790 min - $95,413 max per annum, plus superannuation
