We have an incredible opportunity for a Representative, Trade Marketing to join our close-knit Ethnic Retail Grocery team in Brisbane!
Primary Responsibilities
To implement and maintain in-store marketing and merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility, drive sales, and strengthen brand presence. This includes but not limited to coordinating in-store trade marketing activities, identifying trade marketing initiatives, monitoring stock level, assisting market research in-store and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize retail execution.
1. Trade Marketing Execution
a. Execute in-store merchandising merchandising strategies aligned with brand and trade marketing plans to maximize product exposure and visibility.
b. Ensure POS (Point of Sale) materials, displays, and promotional setups comply with brand guidelines.
c. Ensure proper placement of products in accordance with brand guidelines and promotional strategies.
d. Work closely with retail staff to secure prime product placement and visibility.
e. Execute or assist other trade marketing initiatives such as in-store sampling and events.
f. Identify trade marketing initiatives and collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop trade marketing campaigns that drive retail off takes.
2. Retail & Inventory Management:
a. Conduct store audits to assess stock levels, shelf share, and planogram compliance.
b. Conduct store visits to evaluate merchandising effectiveness, gather insights, and provide feedback for improvements.
c. Collaborate with sales teams to address out-of-stock issues and improve replenishment.
d. Train retail staff on product features, promotions, and merchandising standards.
3. Data & Reporting:
a. Track and report on promotional performance, store feedback, parallel imports, market intelligence and competitor activities.
b. Provide feedback to marketing/sales teams on retailer needs and execution challenges
To be successful you will need:
- Full Australian working rights
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in both Chinese and English
- 1 + years experience in a similar role
- Ability to multi-task and ability to prioritise
- Attention to detail and commercial acumen
