About the role
Main function of the role:
This position is responsible for driving sales growth across New South Wales and Queensland through new customer acquisition and account development. You'll be selling steel products to manufacturers of roofing, guttering, downpipes and similar applications, with a focus on value - not price.
Other tasks in this position include:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts with a relationship-first approach
- Work closely with internal divisions to ensure seamless service and delivery
- Educate customers on the quality, service and stock availability that sets your product apart
- Help build brand recognition across your territory
- Operate with a small-to-medium business mindset, focusing on long-term value over quick wins.

What you must have to apply for this role:

Proven B2B sales or business development experience in steel coils and related products

Demonstrated success growing accounts through a strong value proposition

Confident communicator with technical buyers and internal teams
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Queensland and New South Wales.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
- Experience in the steel industry, including distribution, manufacturing and roll-forming
- Proven success selling steel to manufacturers of roofing, guttering and related products
- Strong ability to build brands and foster long-term customer relationships
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with the freedom to thrive outside corporate constraints.
