What will you be doing?
You will guide a collaborative team in shaping the future of customer account management and financial operations. You will provide strategic guidance, ensuring alignment with business goals while supporting your team to excel. Your role will focus on fostering innovation, streamlining processes, and supporting product improvements that enhance the customer experience.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

Provide strategic guidance to a collaborative team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and supporting team members to succeed in their roles.

Oversee customer financial transactions, including deposits, prize payments, and withdrawals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Identify and implement opportunities for streamlining processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Lead cross-functional initiatives that deliver scalable, customer-centric improvements, collaborating with internal teams such as Finance, Product, and Development.

Promote data-informed decision-making and automation opportunities to foster innovation within customer account management.

Manage chargeback disputes (customer-initiated reversals of credit card payments) and fraud prevention activities, ensuring timely resolution and safeguarding customer trust.

Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high standards.

Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance.

Monitor and analyse key performance metrics, using insights to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement efforts.

Desirable

A background working within financial operations/accounts/accounting.

Working knowledge of online banking systems (e.g., direct bank transfers) and payment gateway platforms (e.g., Payment Logic, PayPal, Zip Pay).

Xero (cloud accounting software), JIRA (project tracking tool), Zendesk (customer support platform), MYOB (business accounting software), and QuickBooks (accounting software).
Salary Banding: $100,000 - $110,000 + Super
