Remuneration: ASO6 ($98,478 - $104,165 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Officer to join the Procurement and Contracting Unit on a full-time ongoing basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing contract renewal, replacement or renegotiation processes, including tender and renewal processes.
- Leading contract dispute resolution processes, negotiating outcomes and address contract performance issues.
- Providing advice, education and consultancy services in relation to complex procurement, contracting matters, projects and issues.
- Contributing to the development and review of contract and procurement strategies, policies, systems and processes.
- Recognising and mitigating procurement and contract risks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in end-to-end management of procurement processes and developing procurement documentation for major contracts.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with experience in managing contract dispute resolution processes.
- Knowledge of contract law and relevant public sector procurement policies, procedures and strategies associated with government operations.
- Experience in providing advice regarding procurement activities, reports and recommendations appropriate to the purpose and audience.
