Join QBE as a Junior Actuarial Analyst, supporting reserving work and data analysis in a dynamic team.
Your role
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Senior Actuarial Manager in end-to-end reserving work for various products.
- Performing monthly BAU tasks and other actuarial analysis as required.
- Acting as the 'go-to person' for data analysis and supporting senior Actuarial professionals.
- Continuously seeking process improvement and participating in QBE Actuarial modernisation.
- Involvement in developing a new automated reserving model, applying and growing technical skills in SQL and VBA.
About you
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in actuarial studies, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent.
- A keen interest in expanding Actuarial knowledge and career progression.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SQL, VBA, and Python is advantageous.
