Description:
We are a well established boutique law firm located in Nambour. We are seeking a full time Receptionist to join our team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A confident and pleasant phone manner
- An understanding of confidentiality and professionalism that is required in a law firm
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management skills
- Be a good team player, as well as work autonomously where required
- Be computer savvy with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in reception duties (highly regarded)
- Prior experience in a legal environment (highly regarded)
- Experience in LEAP (highly regarded)
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Initial contact with clients - both face-to-face and via phone
- Collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
- General office duties
- Opening files, generating first contact letters and costs agreements
- Providing fee estimates and liaising with prospective clients at the direction of lawyers
- Maintaining file processes, updating information and proactively managing the administration of the office to assist fee-earning staff
- Assisting other staff where required
