Description:

We are a well established boutique law firm located in Nambour. We are seeking a full time Receptionist to join our team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A confident and pleasant phone manner
  • An understanding of confidentiality and professionalism that is required in a law firm
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time management skills
  • Be a good team player, as well as work autonomously where required
  • Be computer savvy with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in reception duties (highly regarded)
  • Prior experience in a legal environment (highly regarded)
  • Experience in LEAP (highly regarded)

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Initial contact with clients - both face-to-face and via phone
  • Collection and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • General office duties
  • Opening files, generating first contact letters and costs agreements
  • Providing fee estimates and liaising with prospective clients at the direction of lawyers
  • Maintaining file processes, updating information and proactively managing the administration of the office to assist fee-earning staff
  • Assisting other staff where required
