An exciting opportunity exists to join the Assessment and Reporting Division for a fixed term full-time position.

• Salary: $113,022 - $136,747 (Plus Superannuation of 11.5%)
• Fixed term till 31 December 2025
• Usual hours of work: Full time (flexible work conditions may be available)
• Usual work location: East Melbourne

Role Purpose

Working within the Assessment Policy, Strategy and Development Branch, you will facilitate the release and operation of the VCAA Student Portal for schools and students. The Portal will provide a direct (digital) method for students (initially Senior Secondary) to access their personal details, enrolment information, individual examination timetables, special provisions and aspects of their results.

You will work with a range of stakeholders, including internal technology and business teams, schools and sectors to establish and implement an operating model, including technical and administrative aspects. This will include development of schedules and collateral and documenting procedures. An important aspect of the work will be identifying and managing risks and issues in the lead up to release.

You will bring strong critical thinking skills and the ability to appropriately plan and implement a program. The role also requires solid communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management capabilities.

In addition to day-to-day coordination of the work, you will report on progress, provide advice and brief management.

Experience and qualifications

Desirable: A relevant tertiary qualification.
