Description:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and secure potential new business opportunities within the automotive manufacturing industry, targeting OEM's, fleets, dealers, and workshops
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure continued business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs and expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with interstate teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to promote the company's products and services.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.



Requirements:

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Prior experience in a similar sales or business development role within the automotive / manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing market and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
