About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to be the primary point of contact for Community and Oral Health, providing high level support and advice to the Executive Director and professional support to the Executive Support Officers. This position will manage and coordinate the daily function of the Executive Director, Community and Oral Health to deliver client focused executive management and achieve a high-level of performance in a demanding executive environment. This role also manages Executive correspondence via the established MD16 Queensland Health Statewide network.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Work closely with the Executive Director to identify, develop and implement strategies which align with the operational and strategic needs of the Executive Director.
- Engage with stakeholders in continuous improvement activities to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the office of the Executive Director.
- Be proactive and use discretion in the management of emerging issues and competing priorities and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective management of Executive services in regards to Executive and Executive Support Officers and their Administration Support Officer including recruitment and selection, performance management plans, staff allocation, mandatory training and education to achieve high productivity and staff satisfaction.
