Mater is seeking an enthusiastic qualified Rehabilitation Physician to provide services at our Mater Hospital in Rockhampton.
Whether you are an individual or group looking for a “ready-made” practice or guaranteed work in a regional location, or to extend your practice via Telehealth, we would love to hear from you.
Mater has opportunities for both new and experienced Rehabilitation Physicians that include employment, supported and independent private practice models. Mater is an iconic health service, the largest of its kind in Australia. With a 16-bed rehabilitation facility supported by our highly regarded allied health team and an established orthopaedics group, there is a tremendous opportunity for a Rehabilitation Physician in this centre, and Mater is here to support you to be successful.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Rehabilitation Physician
- FAFRM(RACP)
- Demonstrated experience and commitment relevant to Rehabilitation Medicine and evidence of competence in skills relevant to a regional hospital practice would be welcome.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills, fostering positive and productive working relationships between team members and with other disciplines
