We are currently seeking a Duty Manager to join our experienced team in which you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to day operations of our dynamic hospitality establishment.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the daily operations of the club including opening, afternoons and closing of the club.
- Engagement with Members and guests to consistently ensure the best possible Club experience.
- Monitoring and reporting on the club’s financial performance, including cash handling and financial transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation: Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, Gaming Machines Act, and WHS responsibilities.
- Observing Gaming harm minimisation responsibilities and customer well being
- Maintaining exceptional customer service standards by leading your team with a hands-on approach.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the venue.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or duty manager role within the hospitality industry
- Current RSA, RCG, RGO, CPR and First Aid qualifications
- Full availability to work, day, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Have impeccable grooming and high standard of personal presentation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with the demonstrated ability to contribute and work effectively as part of a team
- Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office and POS systems
- Strong understanding of relevant Club legislation and Acts
- Proven time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy working environment
- Strong customer service and communications skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, event planning, and facility management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
