For 40 years the PA Research Foundation has provided impactful philanthropic funding for health and medical research, patient support, equipment and education on the PA Hospital Campus. As part of a rapidly growing health service, the Foundation is challenged to expand and provide the same opportunities across the entire Metro South Health network.
The Foundation is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to effectively drive business operations to facilitate our growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an outcome driven, purpose focused, individual in a senior leadership role. Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for leadership and delivering key organisation functions of financial planning and reporting and human resources, including volunteers.
The role will be instrumental in aligning the resources of the Foundation to support expansion across the health service. As deputy to the CEO, the incumbent will have the opportunity to directly contribute to organisation outcomes, decision making, and operational development to build a sustainable and outcomes focused organisation.
About You
The Executive Manager - Operations will help lead and contribute to an ambitious growth agenda for the Foundation. The successful candidate will possess a relevant qualification and have substantial experience in operational management, preferably in a for-purpose organisation.
You will need to be solution focused as you manage day-to-day operations and have a proven track record of maintaining an exemplary culture that exceeds expectations and values teamwork. You will need to work closely with the CEO to ensure the effective management of organisational processes. You will need to have a minimum of 5 years working in an Operations Management or similar roll and proven experience managing staff to deliver financial management and human resources.
You are a passionate advocate for making a difference and have a desire to make real and true impact in the lives of the community through improving healthcare. You ideally have experience in operational management in the not-for-profit sector. You are a natural at strengthening relationships with your colleagues, have strong business acumen and are a creative problem solver. This role requires flexibility and some occasional out of hours work.
