Contract Administration/ Pre construction Assistant
G.J. Gardner Homes McLaren Vale is a small local New Home Building Company. We are currently looking to employ someone in a diverse roll that involves Building Contracts, Administration and Accounts. The applicant would preferably have experience within the building industry and/or one of the mentioned roles.

Our office is one of 120 offices across Australia which form part of the G.J. Gardner Homes network. In addition there are offices in both NZ and the USA. Each office is independently owned and operated.
The successful candidate will be self-reliant, energetic and able to keep themselves motivated. You will work from our local office in McLaren Vale, greeting clients, making appointments, liaising with drafts people, supervisors, subcontractors and clients, submitting and managing council applications and working with accounts payable/receivable.
So if you are :
- An existing Administrator in a building company or have had past experience
- Looking to improve your systems, procedures and skills
- Someone with reception/accounts experience would be an advantage but not essential
- Hard-working and committed
- Professional and well-presented
- An authentic, genuine and have a real ability to connect and communicate with people
- Positive and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Willing to learn and take responsibility
- Organised and efficient
- Someone who takes pride in their work
Accounts, Admin and building experience are important but the right attitude and motivation are just as critical. You bring everything you have and we will invest and commit to you.
The successful candidate is required to hold an Australian drivers licence and have prior experience within the role.
The position is fulltime and you will be working directly with the local franchise owners. We are a small local team which is part of an international franchise group.
