Their long standing Manager has decided on a career change (but will still be working p/t to ensure a thorough hand-over) and you will be joining a well established, stable and happy payroll team!
They are tried and tested, as we have previously assisted in finding them a Payroll Officer two years ago, who has provided consistent, excellent feedback about their culture and working environment!

NUTS & BOLTS:

• Process weekly payroll for 2,000+ employees
• Complete monthly payroll reporting and filing procedures.
• Accurately monitor and record all leave accrued and taken by each employee.
• Advise Managers on controlling wage costs ensuring their understanding of the Awards or Agreements
• Accurately monitor and record all existing Work Cover claims
• Manage Superannuation Administration
• Administration of Payroll and Group Tax
• Processing of all End of Financial Year obligations
• Maintaining Employee Records
• Updating Legislative and Award amendments
• Weekly reporting on labour costs
• Assist with their payroll project, implementing our new payroll system (Micropay)

YOU'LL NEED:

• Min 3 years Payroll Management
• Micropay an advantage but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail, strong time management and solid analytical skills
• Experience in interpreting relevant awards and enterprise agreements
• Experience in processing high volumes of payroll data
• Sound understanding of payroll processes, superannuation and payroll tax legislation
• A desire to work for a fun, fast paced and ever changing business
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Likes to have fun!
