THE COMPANY: Our client is one of Singapore’s fastest-growing technology companies. Powered by Artificial Intelligence, their video-based products and services have gained global popularity, with users in over 150 countries. As they continue to expand in Australia and New Zealand, they are looking for an Events & Community Manager to join their Sydney team and help drive community growth. THE ROLE: In this role, you will be responsible for building and engaging strong communities within the app while also organising memorable offline events to bring users together. Key responsibilities include: Develop and implement engagement strategies for users, streamers, and influencers from diverse communities. Create an inclusive space where people can connect, make friends, and share experiences. Encourage participation through community-driven initiatives, challenges, and events. Plan and host engaging in-app events such as live streaming competitions, talent shows, and themed broadcasts. Adapt event content and initiatives to suit different user demographics. Organise and manage offline events in local cities to strengthen connections between users, streamers, and influencers. Work with community leaders and user groups to co-host local events that reflect the company’s brand values. Use feedback and data insights to improve event structures and boost user engagement. Collaborate with streamers, users, and partners to design interactive events that align with community interests. Identify partnership opportunities that support community-building efforts. Support cross-departmental initiatives to drive user engagement and community growth. YOU: The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 3-4 years of experience in events, community management, or marketing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to break down information clearly and highlight key insights. The ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with users while leveraging insights to improve operations. Experience in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to make data-driven decisions (highly preferred). Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (essential).
