The Property Services Team plays a vital role in managing and maintaining Council's extensive property portfolio, ensuring optimal utilisation and responsible stewardship of these valuable community assets . About the role
We are looking for a Senior Administration Officer to join our team to provide high-level administrative support to our Property Services Team, coordinating information, managing applications, and conducting research to ensure smooth departmental operations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate information and delivering quality service to our customers, directly impacting the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
Other Responsibilities include :
- Manage and respond to property-related inquiries from the community, determining appropriate actions or referrals.
- Assist in managing Council's leased properties by addressing leaseholder queries and coordinating with internal staff.
- Research property information and draft reports, including the departmental quarterly report.
- Maintain and update electronic record-keeping systems for property-related data and transactions.
- Contribute to the Property Services Team by participating in team planning, process reviews, and providing administrative support to colleagues.
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle a high workload and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and knowledge in property management and property legislation, practices and processes an advantage.
- Tertiary qualifications in administration, property, conveyancing or significant experience in a similar position.
- Local Government experience is highly desirable.
