About this Position

We are building a high performing Brand and Marketing team with a culture of achievement, and accountability. We are looking for leaders who demonstrate a growth mindset, with curiosity to question the status quo, and who can lead their teams on a journey of continual improvement to deliver greater value for our community (users of our service) and donors (funders of our service), to improve mental health and make it easier for people to feel better earlier, get well and stay well.

As a leader in this team, the Campaign Marketing Manager is accountable for translating the Brand Strategy into a multi-channel organisation wide Communication Strategy, and planning, designing, and executing organisation wide marketing initiatives to enhance Beyond Blue’s brand equity and anchor us as Australia’s most trusted mental health brand.

The role

Support the transition to “Fewer, Bigger, Better” marketing initiatives by integrating the requirements of brand and key internal customers within campaigns for optimised efficiency.

Identify key messages that resonate with our target audiences meaningfully, effectively, and memorably, to drive desired behaviour change (think, feel, do).

Create contemporary, engaging content across channels to drive higher engagement at a lower production cost, including the safe adoption and use of emerging technologies.

Utilise the latest research techniques and A/B testing to optimise content prior to scaled deployment.

Lead the development and deployment of a sustainable and scalable Media Strategy, in collaboration with External Affairs to deliver identified messages to prioritised target audiences and create measurable change by deploying the right message in the right channel at the right time.

Set KPIs that evaluate results based on an ROI for the investment of all resources, to understand the total economic impact of our activities and to ensure we are driving the desired attitudinal and behaviour change in our target audience, to increase their knowledge, and engage the community in action to achieve their best possible mental health.

Champion marketing best practise and actively support an innovation mindset. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and adopt the safe and responsible use of emerging technologies.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

To be successful you will hold a:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in senior leader roles in marketing or advertising and leading a high performing teams, change management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Extensive experience in translating and executing brand strategy, campaign development and execution across multiple channels
  • Extensive experience and strong knowledge of digital and social marketing, using this in an innovative, forward thinking, human centred and inclusive way.
  • A drive for continual improvement, experience in optimising campaigns for enhanced performance and evaluating integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong capability in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, successfully negotiate and influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Skilled in overseeing multiple complex projects and ensuring that outcomes are delivered to a high level of quality, on time and on budget.
  • Political astuteness and the ability to gauge the various and differing opinions and work collaboratively to achieve the organisational objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in producing high quality reports and discussion papers and making formal presentations.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including Jira and Confluence, CRM systems, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
