We are a hydroponic tomato farm based in Bridges on the Sunshine Coast. We’re looking for an organized and motivated Assistant Administrator to join our growing team!
Position Overview:
As an Assistant Administrator, you will support the smooth operation of our hydroponic farm by handling a range of administrative tasks. This is a vital role within the farm's day-to-day operations. The position is full time with flexibility, hours required to be available are from 7-3pm. You will work closely with the management team to ensure that administrative processes run efficiently. This role will focus on logistics, orders, labelling and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations, labelling, logistics, orders and invoicing.
- Assist with quality control checks / food safety / audit requirements.
- Manage and organize farm records.
- Handle phone calls and emails from customers.
- Coordinate dispatch and packing of produce.
- Assist with payroll, invoicing, and other financial documentation as needed.
- Provide general office support and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative roles (experience in agricultural or farming environments a plus).
- Knowledge with Xero accounting software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience/ certificates in HACCP/ HARPS/ Freshcare (a plus, not required)
- Experience with Priva Performance (a plus, not required)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
