We are seeking a Fleet Officer to join our Procurement team!
- Newly created role being offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract
- Working full-time hours, based at our new West Perth office
- Flexible / hybrid working arrangements supported including working from home
About the role
Reporting to our General Manager – Procurement, this role is responsible for day-to-day fleet management including the maintenance of fleet records, research into best practice processes, and the identification of fleet optimisation opportunities. Duties will include:
- Research fleet management best practice and make recommendations.
- Review maintenance records and prompt maintenance.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure suitable vehicles and fit out is achieved.
- Support fleet users in a timely manner.
- Regularly review and optimise fleet usage.
- Work with finance to determine other available financing models for acquisition.
About you
You thrive when juggling multiple tasks at once and enjoy being able to own components of projects while being supported by your broader team. You will also bring:
- Familiarity with Fleet Management.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Ability to undertake best practice research.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
- C-A Class driver’s licence.
- Also desirable, (but not essential) - the ability to negotiate successful outcomes and proven experience with improving processes.
