The role

As the Executive Assistant, you'll be the key support for the CEO's office, delivering exceptional executive, secretariat, and administrative assistance. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the CEO’s office and Board, handling complex issues, and coordinating administrative support across the organization. You'll manage the CEO’s time, prepare essential documents, and act as the first point of contact, all while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

You'll manage a range of tasks requiring sensitivity and discretion, especially when dealing with politically sensitive or urgent matters. Your ability to provide creative solutions and work collaboratively will be key to your success. This role requires a proactive approach to managing tasks, prioritizing urgent matters, and ensuring that the CEO’s office runs efficiently and effectively.

What you will bring to the role

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a complex diverse organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Creativity and innovation to bring fresh ideas and approaches to problem-solving
  • High level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and competing demands
