Description:

  • Shared responsibility of managing a HR portfolio, end to end.
  • Support current and future business needs through enhancing employee engagement.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisals and improvement plans.
  • Ensure legal compliance for the HR function.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training program

Requirements:

A successful HR Generalist will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a simialr type role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and strategic thinking.
  • Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry.

Conditions:

  • An hourly rate of $55-60 p/hr plus superannuation.
  • 3 days per week.
  • 5-month contract.
  • Port Melbourne location.
