Description:
- Shared responsibility of managing a HR portfolio, end to end.
- Support current and future business needs through enhancing employee engagement.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisals and improvement plans.
- Ensure legal compliance for the HR function.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training program
Requirements:
A successful HR Generalist will be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a simialr type role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices and strategic thinking.
- Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Experience in the industrial / manufacturing industry.
Conditions:
- An hourly rate of $55-60 p/hr plus superannuation.
- 3 days per week.
- 5-month contract.
- Port Melbourne location.
