The Project Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the MyTime@UQ Program, supporting its leadership team and driving project coordination, administration, and communication efforts.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the program’s operations, ensuring seamless project execution by managing schedules, tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and maintaining critical project documentation. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities, anticipate project needs, and provide exceptional administrative support will be instrumental in delivering program outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include :

Provide high-level administrative and project support to ensure smooth program operations, including scheduling meetings, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.

Coordinate stakeholder meetings, prepare presentation materials, take minutes, and follow up on actions to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Actively manage project registers, including tracking issues, risks, and change requests, while ensuring adherence to deadlines and approvals.

Support procurement activities by sourcing materials and services, raising purchase orders, and maintaining vendor and contractor records.

A degree with relevant experience as a Project Officer or in a similar role.
-
Proven ability to provide administrative and project support in a fast-paced environment.
-
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
-
High-level communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
-
Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Teams, and MS Project, with the ability to manage project documentation and systems.

Experience in project management within a tertiary or research institution is highly valued.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
