About the role:
Join our Contract Management and Delivery Directorate as a key member of the Telecommunications Team, delivering high-priority projects for the Country Fire Service (CFS). This role is critical in managing and maintaining essential telecommunications infrastructure, including Land Mobile Radio (LMR), Paging, Mobile and Fixed-line Telephony, and Data Connectivity for staff and volunteers.
You will Advisor and Projects coordinate complex telecommunications projects, ensuring alignment with CFS operational needs. Responsibilities include developing project plans and schedules, managing contracts and service delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and government agencies. You will also oversee telecommunications accounts, ensuring efficient financial management.
As part of an on-call emergency roster, you may be required to provide operational support in critical situations. Some after-hours work will be necessary to engage with stakeholders effectively.
This position is based at the SA Emergency Service Sector Headquarters in Keswick and reports to the Manager of Telecommunication.
