Description:

OneFortyOne is a trans-Tasman business that owns and manages softwood plantation forests and operates sawmills in Australia and New Zealand. We produce and distribute timber and forest products across Australia, New Zealand and internationally.

We’re looking for an experienced Credit Officer to join our group finance team within our Australian operations.

The Role :

Reporting to the Credit Manager and as a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for the accounts receivable function for our customer base. Your proactive approach and collaborative spirit will ensure the highest levels of service while minimising credit risk. You will:

  • proactively manage customer portfolios, ensure compliance with trading terms and credit limits, and resolve credit issues.
  • process and complete accounts receivable tasks, ensuring compliance obligations are met.
  • prioritise and organise daily payments processing and meet reporting timelines.
  • maintain customer master data and respond to customer queries.
  • liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • provide assistance with general accounting functions and finance administration support.

You will have:

  • qualifications in bookkeeping or equivalent relevant experience.
  • experience in accounts receivable, data entry, management of data and using excel, SAP or accounting software.
  • organisation and time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • proactive communication skills to engage and develop working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • ability to work autonomously, and work within a team environment.

Although not essential, experience working closely with account managers on major accounts will be well regarded.
