Reporting to the Configuration Manager, the Configuration Change Officer operates within ASC’s Shared Services Department. They are accountable for processing Configuration Management (CM) activities maintaining the configuration management baseline. Responsibilities Responsible for processing tasks to assist with configuration baseline management and participate in functional and physical audits.Review documentation within a technical environment to determine implementation and status.Review and confirmation of changes performed which requires data entry across several software programs ensuring integrity and accuracy.Analysis and identification of anomalies and ability to read and understand documentation relating to engineering change activities.Conduct tasks directed by the Configuration Manager to meet schedule deadlines.Report and communicate status of Configuration Management tasks with projected view for management.Escalate any issues, problems or challenges through the hierarchy chain - offering solutions where possible.About you Experience in a Configuration Management environment (desired, not essential).Experience in a technical environment or trade (desired, not essential).Transferable skills in working environments with change management, mechanical and/or electrical or similar.Demonstrated high level of analytical skills through accurate and focused work ethic.Undertake tasks accordingly with a high standard of personal organisation and departmental goals.Understanding of management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritising and process execution.Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office and general technology proficiency.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customer.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
