About the Role:

Acknowledge Education is seeking passionate Social Workers, Youth Workers, Case Managers, Counsellors, Psychologists and other Human Services Professionals to work as Placement Liaison Officers for our Community Service Programs. Join our Academic team and support students throughout their Placement programs. This role involves using your industry experience and expertise to assist our students through their placements, assuring they are able to meet expectations and thrive through these experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with stakeholders to secure student placements.
  • Act as the primary contact for fieldwork placements, coordinating student support and evaluating activities.
  • Organize student information sessions, orientation presentations, and ensure liaison services meet compliance standards.
  • Manage placement records, assess student performance, and identify and address any placement issues promptly.
  • Comply with organizational policies and contribute to team meetings and professional development initiatives.

About you:

  • Hold a Post Grad degree or higher in community work, social welfare, human services, Psychology or related fields,
  • Three or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development with at least 20 hours annually.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in data entry, database management, and online learning platforms, with strong report writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently under minimal supervision.

Desirable:

  • Experience with higher education and facilitating workshops.
  • Familiarity with supporting international and multicultural students.
  • Proficiency in InPlace, RTO Manager, and Moodle.
