Description:
We are a dynamic and expanding hospitality business based in Melbourne, Australia, and we are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team remotely from the Philippines. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong grasp of financial management, and a passion for the hospitality industry, we’d love to hear from you!KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ordering & Invoicing: Manage purchase orders, process invoices, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Bank & Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Managing Cashflow: Monitor cash flow, forecast financial needs, and ensure adequate funds for operational expenses.
- Supplier Payments: Process payments to suppliers, maintain good relationships, and ensure timely transactions.
- Communication with Accountant: Collaborate with the external accountant to provide financial reports, BAS statements, and compliance documentation.
- Payroll Management: Process payroll, superannuation, and ensure compliance with Australian workplace regulations.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper within an Australian business.
- Strong knowledge of Xero .
- Familiarity with Australian tax, GST, BAS, and payroll regulations .
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with suppliers, accountants, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage financial tasks efficiently.
