THE JOB
You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of our larder section, contributing your expertise and creativity to deliver the highest-quality dishes.
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
- Manage and maintain the fryer section, including stocks, ordering, and inventory control.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service.
- Contribute menu development and innovation ideas, keeping up with culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience for 2+ years as a Chef with ability to handle pressure on the fryers.
- Proficiency in preparing various dishes with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis over a 7 day roster.
