About our team
Our School Performance Cluster Partner Team collaborates within and across BCE to provide specialised, multi-disciplinary support to schools. Our goal is to enhance student learning outcomes through informed decisions and sustainable processes. We offer differentiated support and advice in learning and pedagogy, literacy, numeracy, technologies, inclusive education, engagement, and student wellbeing, with focus on compliance, improvement, and excellence in each school context.
Summary
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team with a focus on Primary schools across Northern Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Coast and Burnett areas to support schools in the area of inclusive education.

- Salary: $133,554.00 - $148,386.00 + super

In this position you will be responsible for:
- Work in partnership with school-based role holders and leadership teams as part of a multidisciplinary team across the area of inclusive education.
- Support the implementation of policy, influence direction, and organisational practices and procedures, and operational outcomes.
- Develop strategies to provide sound advice to improve organisational performance by undertaking high-level reviews/investigations as identified.
- Prepare specialised and technical reports and committee papers on significant projects, research or policy development.
- Offer tailored support for schools in learning and teaching through various methods like coaching, co-teaching, and professional learning networks to enhance inclusive education.
- Provide guidance and support during key school transition points, such as starting school, moving between year levels, entering secondary school, and transitioning to post-school opportunities.
- Analyze school data to challenge perspectives, explore alternative actions, and determine organizational and operational needs on complex and strategic issues.
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience in working in the area of inclusive education within a school environment.
- Demonstrated experience in providing specialised advice and support to schools on the implementation of effective and expected practices in inclusive education.
- Leading a variety of projects to meet operational outcomes.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of curriculum, professional practices, relevant legislation, initiatives and current research in inclusive education. Demonstrated experience in implementing policy and strategic directions to support student learning.
- Demonstrated knowledge and effective application of evidence based practices in inclusive education.
- Ability to build productive relationships with school leaders and teachers to promote inclusive education practices.
- Degree qualifications in education, with post-graduate qualifications in inclusive education or a similar relevant field preferred.
- A Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Full registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
