We have a secondment Senior Bi lling Officer role available in our Customer & Innovation group .
The Customer and Innovation group leads and champions the way Urban Utilities connects with its customers. Our approach is focused on remaining contemporary, by understanding the current and future needs of our customers and appropriately shaping our services.
This position provides a wide range of high quality, customer focused and efficient administrative functions, specialised advice and support services to assist the effective operations of the billing team to achieve their business objectives.
Assisting the Revenue Services Team Leaders in supporting Billing Officers to deliver excellent customer service by acting as a point of reference to ensure resolution of customer enquiries, and compliance with the accounts receivable procedures.
Some of your accountabilities will include:

Design own monthly schedule and, assign work to others in order to create efficiencies in team workflow and ensure high-priority tasks get done.

Develop working knowledge of the Urban Utilities policies and procedures and regulatory codes relevant to Revenue Services processes, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.

Assist with the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice.

Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching

About You

Billing and metering experience is highly desirable.
