The role:

Are you passionate about ESG and data-driven decision-making? Our client, a leading utilities provider requires a Senior Business Analyst for their project where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting! This project (initially a 3 month contract with view to extend) will have a lasting impact, helping drive compliance and sustainability improvements across the organisation.

You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to assess data sources, regulatory requirements, and reporting processes. Your work will drive efficiency and compliance improvements in ESG reporting, ensuring the organisation meets evolving regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and document relevant ESG data sources

• Develop a data flow diagram to illustrate data movement

• Conduct a data quality and gap assessment

• Map data elements to compliance and regulatory reporting frameworks

• Facilitate workshops and engage with key stakeholders

• Capture current (‘as-is’) and future (‘to-be’) state processes

• Support lean process improvements and project establishment activities

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Strong core BA skills: data analysis (Excel), requirements gathering, benefits realisation

• Excellent communication skills to translate complex concepts into layman’s terms

• Experience in process mapping and improvement initiatives

• Understanding of finance, regulatory compliance, and ESG reporting

• Industry experience in utilities, mining, or similar sectors (desirable)

• Note: this role requires a start of 28th April or immediately thereafter
