The Renal Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse to join their team on a Permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse Renal provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused, evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing staff within the Renal Service. The Clinical Nurse reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
About the Team
The Mackay HHS Renal Service provides management of adult patients with acute kidney injuries and chronic disease, including dialysis and workup for transplant and post-transplant management. The multidisciplinary team provides outpatient care to over 1300 CKD patients in addition to renal replacement therapy, through advanced holistic patient care in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, including comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients requiring care.
