We are looking for a Clinical and Compliance Officer! to ensure regulatory compliance, drive quality improvement, and support best practices across our organisations, including People First Healthcare, InOne Healthcare, Ace Renovation Group, E-LEAF, and Future Workforce.
About the Role
As a Clinical and Compliance Officer, you will ensure adherence to aged care and NDIS regulations, implement quality improvement initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, regulatory agencies, and management to enhance care standards and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance and Regulation
- Stay up to date with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
- Conduct audits to assess compliance with policies and standards.
- Develop corrective action plans for any compliance gaps.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies during inspections.
- Quality Improvement & Training
- Identify and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Support training development and resource creation.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of improvement projects.
- Risk Management & Safety
- Assess potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Participate in incident investigations and develop preventive measures.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with nurses, physicians, social workers, and administrators.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to management.
What You Bring
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience: Proven leadership experience in aged care, NDIS, or healthcare compliance.
- Skills: Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Independence & Collaboration: Capable of working autonomously while fostering teamwork.
